Our vision is that every person with a learning disability will
  • have the opportunity to discover the arts
  • develop their creative practice
  • be supported to realise their potential
  • be celebrated alongside other artists
  • face no social or institutional barriers to a meaningful and sustainable career in the arts.

Pyramid’s headquarters will be the best Centre for Contemporary Art in the North, and our members will be recognised as the most exciting artists in the region and beyond, setting a new national and international standard for artists with a learning disability.

Pyramid is an arts organisation that works with people with learning disabilities and autism.  We have unique expertise in working with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) but work with all ranges of ability.

Our groups come together to make large-scale sculptures, paintings and installations with professional artists. They also make music together and explore movement, dance and drama.

We also offer 1:1 support and development for people with a learning disability who who want to progress to having a sustainable career in the arts.
