Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate.

At Purley Bury Tennis Club, we are pledged to help an increasing number of people across all age groups and abilities to pursue an active and healthy lifestyle, and to play and enjoy tennis more frequently. Our Club is well known for inclusive tennis for all, and the development of young players of all ages through easy to enter coaching programmes. We will be raising funds for courts resurfacing, upgrading floodlights to environmentally friendly LED's, and improving the clubhouse facilities. This will provide the opportunity for anybody from the local community, young and old, able and disabled, to play. A proportion of funds raised will be set aside to expand professionally coached sessions for our disabled members in the future. Thank you for kindly supporting our long term objectives and for your donations, which will help the club to provide the best environment for 'Tennis for all'.

Please donate to support our cause.

At Purley Bury Tennis Club, we provide coaching free for 36 sessions a year to teach and support disabled players to develop their tennis skills. The sessions are run by LTA qualified professionals and are open to all categories of disability. Up to 25 disabled players are being coached at each session. The programme requires specialist equipment, balls and rewards for those taking part, and is funded entirely by donations, sponsorship and grants.

The Trustees and committee at the club are all volunteers and maintain the facilities to a very high standard. However, the floodlights have reached the end of their life and need to be replaced by environmentally friendly LED's, which use much less energy and are cheaper to run. This project will cost around £80,000, with savings made on power invested back into the club. In addition, the courts need to be resurfaced to maintain a good quality and safe playing area. The work on this will cost in the region of £60,000.

Your donations will help to provide a fantastic facility for people of all ages and ability to play tennis - from Tiny Tots aged 4 - 6 years old, to seniors 75 years young. Thank you.
