Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. Outside Edge Theatre Company is the UK’s only theatre company and participatory arts charity focused on helping people affected by substance misuse and addiction. For almost twenty years OETC’s drama workshops have offered access to arts-based interventions for marginalised people to support their recovery maintenance. Founded by Phil Fox, who was an actor and recovering heroin addict, OETC delivers a vital peer-led, person-centred service in the local community.

Please donate to support our cause. OETC’s participants come from 26 of London’s boroughs, with 77% travelling across multiple boroughs to attend workshops at our unique ‘abstinence only’ building in Parsons Green. Most of our income comes from local authority service contracts to provide holistic, peer-led services to at-risk adults in recovery in Hammersmith and Fulham, Westminster, Chelsea and Kensington. However, to be able to further develop this work, we strongly rely on private donations. Last year OETC delivered 229 workshops that had 993 individual attendances. OETC also creates critically acclaimed theatre productions that tour across the UK to treatment centres, schools and festivals to raise awareness about issues related to substance misuse. Over the past 19 years, we have presented 46 productions and our work has impacted thousands of people.
