Oxford Adaptive Rowing Club is charity operated exclusively by volunteers whose aim is to provide a fun and safe environment in which individuals with learning or physical disabilities can enjoy the sport of rowing.
Rowing Club is a club that
teaches the disabled to row, coach and race for both recreation and serious
competition. We have a range of
boats from extra-stable training shells up
to more conventional boats that allow us
to adapt to the individual needs of rowers and
allow for a full range of abilities.
We have rowers with both learning
and physical disabilities who train most Sundays
along with a sizeable
group of coaches and also have the occasional social event and we
also of course participate in several races each year.
