Charity description

North Wales Deaf Association logo
Centre of Sign-Sight-Sound (COS)
"Improving Quality of LIfe through Equality"
With some 23 years of experience of delivering services and support to people living with sensory loss and the professionals and organisations who work with them, our aim is to:
Improve the quality of life and equality of access and opportunity for Deaf people and people living with sensory loss.
Promote a world where sensory loss does not limit, preclude or stigmatise people from achieving their full unique potential.

North Wales Deaf Association (NWDA) was originally formed by the Deaf community in 1994. The charity changed its name in 2016 to Centre of SIgn-SIght-Sound (COS) to enable us to provide support to people living with a sensory loss across a wider geographical area.  We do this through our campaigning and lobbying work and also importantly through our direct delivery of support services including our Communication Support Service, Community Access Services and Community Resource and Support Services.

Charity No: 1048017
