Ndi Moyo means "the place giving life".
Our patients come to us in severe or chronic pain. Typically they are HIV+ and suffer from associated cancers, often complicated by TB, shingles, or malaria.
In Malawi 11% of the population is HIV+ and there is one doctor for every 50,000 people.
We provide holistic care that relieves compounding problems associated with being ill. These include difficulties ranging from family food security and caring for dependent children, to transport to hospital, access to medicine and guidance for family carers.
We are a community-based organisation mainly funded by donations in the UK. We receive no government funding.
Charity No: 1111045
