From supporting food banks in Uk to refugees fleeing violence, those who are stuck in desperate situations especially in Greece, Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Middle East!
The world is facing the biggest humanitarian crisis
since WW2! They're now over 7 million displaced mainly women and children facing a crisis in the Middle East! Will you help us to bring smiles on those faces who feel most forgotten? So far we have delivered 7 projects in Greece from funding boat rescue missions, ferry tickets, providing baby milk, nappies to bulk food, and hygienic times in official and unofficial camps. There are over 62 000 refugees in Greece alone mainly Syrians. Our message is being one unified human race to support the biggest humanitarian crisis happening around the world since WW2.
Moonlight Trust is a growing local charity, founded by Noushin Raja in memory of her brother Moon, who was killed by a bunch of drunken youth. Though the charity was born from tragedy, today it is known for its tremendous humanitarian work and the quality of its projects especially in terms of supporting refugees. Starting from food for homeless in Leeds, the charity has now delivered humanitarian projects in Greece, Turkey, France, Bangladesh and Pakistan, ranging from sponsoring emergency aid in refugee camps in Greece to building shelters for Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. The projects delivered were sufficiently cost-effective as £21,000 was raised for Rohingya refugees and 100% of this was spent on aid. All the projects were delivered by volunteer staff including students and professionals from all backgrounds.
