Malvern Museum

Charity description

Malvern Museum logo
Malvern Museum operates from within the Priory Gatehouse - a Grade II* listed building built c.1470 and recognised as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Unfortunately it is now suffering from buckled windows, bent glass, eroded stone, rusting iron, crumbling mortar and a roof in need of replacement.

Malvern Museum operates to bring history alive to all ages, locals and visitors alike. Its exhibitions change regularly to reflect the depth of its collections. It pursues an active educational and outreach policy in addition to providing static displays.
All stewards, curators, trustees give their time voluntarily. There is no government funding and the Museum finds its own operating costs.
To renovate the Gatehouse, our home,we need to raise £80000.We are doing our bit - exhibitions, sales, coffee mornings, concerts, but we need so much in such a short time if we are to preserve the building and its contents for future generations.
Your generosity would be much appreciated - supporting us will literally support our building.
