Improving Welfare: Assistance via drop ins, appointments, community surgeries and home visits by request; Advancing Education: Computer club, I.T., keep fit and line dancing classes, genealogy and a library; Promoting Social Inclusion: Tuesday & Wednesday Clubs, seasonal outings & trips abroad; Celebrting Culture: St Patrick’s Festival, The Emerald Pipeband, The Literary Society, Irish Language Group and multicultural initiatives; Promote health: Health MOT days; Commission and contribute to research and policy development: We commissioned ‘Luton Irish Forum Report on the needs of the local Irish community’. We host and contribute to a number of consultations to ensure the needs of the Irish community are represented.
