Ladbroke Church - All Saints for All Generations
around £500,0000 for urgent repairs.
Set in a traditional village setting, with an unusual striped tower, fine stained glass and an interior that was restored and refurbished by Gilbert Scott in 1876, Ladbroke Church looks like a chocolate box picture. However along with its history this lovely old building brings the congregation and Ladbroke community a big challenge.
We need to raise around £500,000 to replace decaying stonework on the tower and buttresses and to fix the high level windows in the chancel.
The repairs will stabilise the tower, walls and windows, conserving the integrity of the historic fabric for future generations. Our project also has activities to enable more people to find out, share and appreciate the heritage of Ladbroke church, its setting and its people. These include a welcoming, interesting and undemanding experience to reduce the social isolation of the elderly, people with disabilities including dementia and their carers.
Thank you for taking the time to find out about us and and please help us if you can by making a donation to our "All Saints for all generations" appeal.
