Kinneff Old Church Preservation Trust Ltd
Kinneff Old Church is the famous hiding place of the Scottish Crown Jewels which were spirited away from Dunnottar Castle in 1651 under the noses of Oliver Cromwell's invading forces.
Please donate to support our cause.
The Trust exists to raise funds for the on-going maintenance of the Old Kirk and to provide an historic experience detailing the smuggling of the Honours of Scotland from Dunnottar Castle and the history of the creation of the various items, the crown, sceptre and sword. Also on dispaly is the history of the Kirk, the local area and the timeline of the Crown Jewels up to the present date.
The church is open daily and there is no admission charge.
