Charity description

Kea Church - Old Kea Church community improvements logo
An amazing opportunity for you to contribute to giving this unique Celtic Christian site a future. Settled in the 5th century by St Kea, mentioned in the Doomsday Book, today it has a tiny church built in 1858 and a ruined medieval tower.

Help turn £500 into £15,000 to allow matched funding for
STAGE 1: a new access lane providing disabled access with parking, on site toilet facilities and a small kitchen area.

Come and see this special place (TR3 6AN) and be part of its future.

The vision: to continue as a church. Further develop it as a House of Prayer, a place of peace always open to visitors, a focal part of walking trails and the Pilgrims’ Way, develop the woodland for wildlife and tranquil places for people to sit, reach out to the local community and beyond.

Old Kea Church is part of St Kea Church
Our vision is to See God Transform Lives; as we come to know the love of Jesus, trust in his forgiveness and live for him.
This congregation meets twice a month for traditional 1662 Prayer Book Services. The 1st Sunday of the month is a service of Holy Communion at 8.30am whilst on the 3rd Sunday of the month we meet for Evensong at 6:30pm.

Old Kea is also a beautiful and relaxing place to spend some time in prayer, either on your own or with a small group. The church building is open throughout the day.
