Charity description

The Kerala Christian Fellowship (KCF) is a UK-registered charity set up by a group of non-resident Indians to enable under-privileged students ‘back home’ to pursue further education in their chosen fields. KCF is guided by the Christian principles of compassionate care and mutual responsibility and this translates into reaching out into the wider community with a view of meeting people, regardless of their religious beliefs, at their point of need.
In addition to this, KCF is inspired by two proverbs in particular. The origins of both are somewhat unknown, but that in itself does not take away from the message they seek to convey.
It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness,If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. Show him to catch fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.

KCF is now collecting funds to help a special person back in Kerala, India. Litty is a 22 year old young lady, who is full of life and energy. Despite the fact that Litty was born with almost no arms or legs, she has battled the odds of life to come up tops. She has a bachelors degree in commerce, a degree in computers and plays the keyboard, all with the limitations she has. Littty spends most of her time in bed because she has no means of transportation. We would like to get Litty Mobile by sponsoring a specially built wheel chair for her. This is where you can help. Please help us reach our target of £1500.00 which will help us buy Litty a specially adapted wheel chair.God Bless you.
