Charity description

Jeena logo
Striving to liberate, inspire and educate communities to live a life free from abuse and exploitation.
Jeena is a Social Inclusion charity based in the UK working primarily within the ethnic minority communities. Jeena works in particular with those members of these communities who are further disadvantaged because of their sex, age, sexual orientation, caste, or disability.

Jeena is committed to challenge misinterpreted teachings of culture, tradition and religious ideologies. Our core aim is and will always be to support and prevent exploitation by: working with victims one to one, referring them to support services, training community bodies and offering mentoring programs.
We safeguard the vulnerable from abuse regardless of gender with the help of the government and non-government agencies. We provide assistance to people who have come to the UK from abroad who can be particularly vulnerable. We have supported victims fleeing from domestic abuse, helped repatriate victims who have been abandoned by their spouses transnationally, raise awareness of women's rights and rights of children.  Ultimately, we want to equip both men and women, the youth and communities with the support and tools to help them build a life free from exploitation.
