HUMAN VALUES FOUNDATION
We provide much needed teaching materials that lead to a rounded education. They enable young children and teenagers to have fun while learning and so they flourish and therefore learn well because they are developing positive character traits along with essential social and emotional life skills. The children love exploring and putting into practice, a wide range of well considered, inspiring values that they can easily see positively impact and enrich their day-to-day activities and relationships.
We are currently undertaking our most ambitious project ever to create a new personal development programme called THE BIG THINK for children aged 4 to 11. It comprises stories, songs, quotations, time for reflection and questions that stimulate vibrant discussions and debate about what is important in life for young people in today's world - from personal perspectives, to relationships, to society and the environment.
"When values are used in schools, children develop life tools."
If you want to promote values that positively impact society and enhance day-to-day thinking, choices and actions - and give children and teenagers opportunities to develop a strong moral compass and attractive personal qualities from a young age, please donate to support our cause.
We are considered a 'beacon of light' in the education sector.
We provide 2 practical and potentially transformative programmes for use in schools and family settings:
- EDUCATION in HUMAN VALUES - for ages 4 to 12
- SOCIAL and EMOTIONAL EDUCATION - principally for ages 12 to 14+ but also helpful for older teenagers identified as likely to benefit from some extra support to get their lives 'back on track'
These thought-provoking teaching materials, covering an extensive range of important topics, along with engaging stories, songs and activities to deepen learning, help young people gain essential emotional and social skills and a clear understanding of how the values we each choose guide and impact our thinking, decision-making, actions and behaviour.
