Charity description

Hucknall Flight Test Museum CIO logo
Built in 1944, and situated on the old part of the Hucknall aerodrome site, stands a Wing Hangar, which is the last remaining specialist engine test building of it's type in the UK.

The Wing Hangar is now a small museum containing a collection of exhibits which both record and celebrate Hucknall's little known world leading aviation achievements.

The Wing Hangar is now under threat of closure and demolition and a  group of local heritage and aviation enthusiasts are trying to save it from demolition and keep the exhibit collection together in this historic building, on the original site where all of these remarkable aviation achievements took place.

We need the public's help to achieve this. We invite you to find out more by watching our series of videos on our FaceBook and Web pages, which will be updated regularly, and to help us by donating any amount, however small.

Thank you for your interest in this important heritage project and for visiting our profile page on MyDonate.

Please donate to support our cause.
