Remote rural people make long & arduous journeys to medical centres but are now treated in their homes using community health workers (CHW) travelling to the patient and linking with the doctors in their clinics, and hospitals via tele-medicine technology.
The CHWs carry essential drugs and are trained in dispensing with advice from the doctors. The doctors talk directly with patients and the CHWs in real time using the tele-medicine technology. The Patient’s condition and clinical observations are transmitted to the doctor through tele-medicine and recording apps.
The Patient’s medical details are available to the doctor and CHW via an app on their hand held tablet and a remote Electronic Medical Records Database.Patients who need escalated treatment are evacuated to hospital in the same ambulance that the CHWs use to attend the call.
All treatments provided by us including drugs are free to patients who cannot fund their treatment.
