Ghanaian Children's Trust

Charity description

Ghanaian Children's Trust logo
The Ghanaian Children's Trust was established in 2004 to relieve poverty and distress among orphaned and destitute children and young people in Ghana, West Africa - particularly but not exclusively those at King Jesus Charity Home, Boadi, Kumasi. and to advance their education.

The Ghanaian Children's Trust provides financial support to help meet expenses at the orphanage including food, school fees, clothing, fuel and staffing costs. The orphanage is a non-governmental organisation that relies totally on charitable donations to meet all its expenses. It aims to provide a secure home and an education for street children, orphans and children from poor families. The charity's trustees are all volunteers, receiving no financial reward, and running costs are kept to a minimum. In addition, help is occasionally given to other destitute children not resident at King Jesus Charity Home.
