Friends of the University of Dundee Botanic Garden
The Friends was established in 1971. It is run entirely by volunteers. Its income comes from annual membership and other donations.
A twice yearly newsletter contains articles of botanical interest, including reports on special projects to which the Friends have contributed.
In return for their membership donation, Friends enjoy access to the Garden throughout the membership year (see below) and receive invitations to lectures, informal talks and excursions.
The membership year runs from 1 June and memberships fall due for renewal on 31 May each year.
Located in 9.5 hectares of south facing, gently sloping land in Dundee's west end by the River Tay, Dundee University Botanic Garden features many species of indigenous British plants as well as representative collections of important plants from all continents of the world.
