The Farnborough Symphony Orchestra is one of the foremost amateur orchestras in the south of England.
The FSO has had a commitment to live performance of music in the North East Hampshire region since its formation in 1922 as the Royal Aircraft Establishment Orchestral Society. It now performs four concerts every season, regularly attracting high-quality national and international soloists, and is the holder of the 2011 Pat Devereux award for contributions to the Performing Arts in the Borough of Rushmoor.
