Face to Face Counselling

Charity description

Face to Face Counselling logo
Face to Face Counselling is an independent, non-profit-making organisation run by volunteers. It is geared towards clients on no income or low income (Up to £21,000 per annum). Clients contribute £5-£20 per session based on a sliding scale. For those not classed as low income, we can recommend private person centred counsellors practicing in the area. We are based in Chorlton-cum-Hardy in south Manchester and offer the following:
  • One-to-one personal counselling for adults (i.e. over 18) on low income.
  • One-to-one personal counselling for children and young people aged 9-17 where the family is on a low income.
  • One-to-one personal counselling for young adults aged 18-25 on low income
Counselling sessions are by appointment only. Appointments are available 7 days a week and also in the evenings. Book an appointment via telephone.
Tel: 0161 881 1535
24hr telephone service

Here at Face 2 Face we ask instead that our clients contribute between £5 and £20 per session to help us cover overheads of utilities, equipment, provisions, and counsellor supervision.
Historically, our further training programme for volunteer counsellors, which is an essential part of BACP membership and ethical framework, has relied solely on grant applications and fund raising events.
As a charity, none of our staff are paid and we rely on kind donations to help us with any deficits we may accrue due to equipment failures, upkeep of premises, and increases in utilities.
