Charity description

FABB Scotland Ltd logo
Fabb Scotland is a voluntary organisation providing disabled children and young people with sport, leisure, arts, culture, play and adventure activities. We run specialist, inclusive programmes that are vital lifelines offering opportunities to socialise, try new experiences and take on challenges!

We rely on the support of people like you to let disabled children and young people try out new sports such as fencing or cycling using specialised adapted equipment. You give them the opportunity to go away on adventure weekends knowing they have all the mobility support and trained staff they need on hand. You help disabled children and young people build confidence, learn independence, develop new passions and make lasting friendships regardless of their ability.
Be bold. Be You. Be a Fabb Fundraiser and take on the challenge today.

Fabb Scotland work with children and young people across Scotland who have a diverse range of physical impairments and learning disabilities. Their abilities, and the lack of support available, can affect their capacity to participate in outdoor, sporting, educational, cultural and social activities that many able-bodied children take for advantage. The exclusion these disabled children and young people face can have a damaging effect on their self-esteem and mental well-being; limits their education levels, social skills and fitness; and furthers the social diversion between able-bodied and disabled children.
We work to combat this by providing specialist equipment such as adaptive bicycles, trained staff and volunteers, suitable organised activities and a fully inclusive and welcoming environment to allow every child and young person the chance to fulfil their potential.

For 60 years we have developed the confidence, interests, skills and self-esteem of hundreds of children and young people and are always developing new and innovative ways to offer opportunities to all.
