Charity description

Eva's Friends logo
Eva’s Friends is a passionate and determined charity that is driven to accelerate a breakthrough in treatments and cures for rare neurological conditions in children.

Our charity is inspired by our daughter Eva, whose unique neurological condition has motivated us to change children’s lives.  Eva’s condition has turned our ordinary family life upside down, but we believe that together, Eva’s Friends can make extraordinary things happen.

We raise awareness and fund pioneering research that has the potential to change the lives of children living with rare neurological conditions.  The first research project we are funding focuses on developing a cure for Rett Syndrome, a devastating condition that affects an estimated 350,000 girls around the world.

Join us in our quest to change lives by being 1 in 20,000 and donating just £2 a month or by making a single donation.

1 in 20,000
There are approximately 20,000 genes in the human genome and a variation in just one of them can cause a serious genetic condition. Be 1 in 20,000 people who donate just £2 a month to represent how a single variation can have such a huge impact on a child's life. Make a difference today.
