Dundee Rotary Club
The Rotary Club of Dundee provide direct assistance and help as well as raise money for many projects, all of which are carefully vetted. They include local charities and organisations that we feel 'Make a Difference' to our community.
We also work with other Rotary clubs around the world to accomplish great things, simply because our work through Rotary is directly managed on the ground by people who care. We've drilled wells, roofed schools, aided orphanages, built pensioners day-care facilities, built safe after school facilities, organised special trips for severely disabled and disadvantaged children.
By donating to Dundee Rotary, you directly help many, in the UK and around the world. Every single penny goes to where it is needed!
Our fundraising activities include an Oktoberfest Music and Beer Festival, last year was our seventh event held from Thursday 21st September - Saturday 23rd September 2017 in marquees alongside the RRS Discovery at Discovery Quay on Dundee's Waterfront..
The next main event was our 32nd Charity Dinner, which will be held on Friday 27th October 2017. The Dinners are widely supported by the business community in and around Dundee, and have raised nearly £700,000 for local, national, and international charities.
February 2018 will see the Club organise another successful Swimarathon in the Olympia Swimming Pool.
With these, and other events throughout the Rotary Year, we raise in the region of £75,000 - £100,000 each year. This allows us to support a wide range of charitable commitments, covering local and national issues.
