Dovery Manor Museum
Dovery Manor Museum is a small but vibrant village museum providing a cultural centre for the village of Porlock and nearby communities. The museum, housed in a 15th century manor house, provides an insight into the history of the village and surrounding area through displays and exhibitions, and presents one new major exhibition each year. It also provides a variety of research resources for use by the community. The Museum Players, a group of amateur actors and singers from the village, bring the history of the area to life through story, song and poetry with a new performance each year in the museum solar.
Please donate to support our cause.
Dovery museum is run entirely by volunteers, receives no government funding, and is completely dependent on donations and fundraising activities. We are grateful for all donations, however small.
