Our services are all provided by Volunteers . “For the Community, by the Community” is an apt way to describe us. With over 170 volunteers providing in excess of 60,000 hours of service a year, we are enabled to provide essential
transport and mobility solutions to around 7,500 people in the District. Whether it’s an essential medical trip, a social outing on one of our buses, or
a need for mobility equipment such as scooters/wheelchairs etc., give us a call to see if we can help. Additional volunteers always needed for car drivers,
minibus drivers (training will be given), DACT Mobility Shop or in our Recycling/repair Centre for those with practical skills.
Please donate to support our cause. Our services are a vital lifeline for many vulnerable and rurally isolated people. Your donation will help us maintain and expand the levels of our services in the District. Whether it’s a one-off donation, or a regular standing order, your donation will make a difference, and if you are able to gift-aid this it will increase the value of your Gift.
