Community Foundation for Planetary Healing

Charity description

Community Foundation for Planetary Healing logo
Building of a Flour Mill for the Kariri Xocó indigenous people of Alagoas, Brazil. We are raising £3,000 with this crowdfunding.

This project is lead by Cacique Apony in Brazil supported by the Planetary Healing Centre, The Edinburgh Shamanic Centre and the people of Scotland.

Cacique Apony dreams to revert back the situation of hunger and malnutrition in his village. The cacique is heir of much ancient knowledge, which is restricted to only a few, as his family is Baca, the one who holds the tribe’s ancestral lineage of knowledge and wisdom, and who preserved until today the Kariri Xocó tribe’s identity and consciousness.

Please contribute to bettering this tribe’s life quality. Knowing that food is the foundation of health and life, this village still exhibits a wide number of cases of hunger and malnourishment, including internal conflicts caused by struggling for survival. Without  fish lost by Sao Francisco river transposition, Kariri Xocó village basically depends on manioc flour for their survival.

Please kindly help us build this flour mill by donating generously. Your donation will make a difference to the lives of 3,500 people from the village.

"Caring about people, caring about our planet"

Our background history: The consistency of the Planetary Healing Centre’s  work , service and compassion since we first started in 2003 in Edinburgh changes lives and give people the capacity to take control of their health and wellbeing.

As well as the work we do supporting the local community here in Scotland, we have also helped children in Africa and Brazil affected by HIV Aids in the past and now we also help the indigenous people of Brazil.

With our work we help people to develop planetary awareness and re-establish a harmonious relationship to our Earth Mother. Health and wellbeing of people and planet are the results.

Donations received here from 24th Aug 2018 to 24th December 2018 will go to this project. If you are considering Monthly donation, please register as a user in My Donate first.  If you can volunteer in other ways, for example creating a fundraising event to support this project, please contact Claudia Goncalves on 075 0443 8763.
