Community Foundation for Planetary Healing

Charity description

Community Foundation for Planetary Healing logo
"Caring about people, caring about our planet"

The consistency of our work, service and compassion since we first started in 2003 changes lives and give people the capacity to take control of their health and wellbeing.

As well as the work we do supporting the local community here in Scotland, we have also helped children in Africa and Brazil in the past and now we also have a project helping the indigenous people of the Brazilian Amazon.

With our holistic approach and conscious ways we help people to develop planetary awareness, re-establish a harmonious relationship to the Earth through nature based work and move forward in a sustainable way. Health and wellbeing of people and planet are the results!

An Indigenous Centre for the people of the Brazilian Amazon

This project is supporting the Brazilian indigenous people to preserve their knowledge and wisdom.

The main goal is to create a space, a Centre,  build by the Apurina people in the indigenous land of Camicua, where other 18 tribes who live in Acre in the Amazon region will be able to gather and share knowledge. This will be a place where indigenous elders and healers who are healing experts in sacred medicinal plants, will gather to pass on knowledge to the young people, the future generation. They would also like to share their knowledge with all people so the people of the Earth can live more in harmony with our Earth Mother.

With our campaign we will raise £9,000 for the indigenous people of Acre to build their centre. Donations received here from Sep 2017 to June 2018 will go to this project.

Please donate and help support our work.
