Citizens Advice Allerdale
Established on 1st October 1958, we are a local charity that provides advice, help and information to people who live
or work in the Allerdale area of Cumbria.
We work to ensure local people have access to free,
confidential, independent and impartial quality advice. Working with our clients to explore and discuss their options with them so they feel informed and
empowered to make decisions of their own, with confidence.
We can give advice in many areas including,
consumer issues, relationships, welfare benefits, debt/money advice, housing
problems for home owners and tenants, discrimination, employment and health.
Not only do we provide the advice people need
for the problems they face, we have a local research and campaign group and we
seek to champion the rights of individuals at a local, regional and national
level. Working in partnership with the national charity, Citizens Advice, and
other Citizens Advice Bureaux in Cumbria we seek to influence and improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives
Please donate to support our work in our community.
