every penny makes a pound and our social audit 2015/2016 found that for each pound given, CHESS returned £5 of benefit to the community!

You can make a one off donation, or set up monthly giving.
£5 a month- supports hot meals, £10 a month- supports welfare and counselling[, 20 a month- supports a bed for a night in the shelter.
The Hub Appeal
In 2016 we purchased a new building and during 2017 we hope to renovate and restore it to function as a new HUB for CHESS night shelter accommodation, support activities and offices for the charity and social enterprise.

We are looking to raise £300,000 to help make the building fit for purpose.
You can find out more about this appeal through our web-site www.chelmsfordchess.org

Please state in the message box if your donation is specifically for general funds or The Hub Appeal.
