Centre for Studies on Inclusive Education (CSIE)
The Centre for Studies on Inclusive Education (CSIE) is a national charity (327805) working to promote equality and eliminate discrimination in education. At the heart of CSIE’s work is the belief that everyone is of equal value, by virtue of being human. We believe that everyone should feel welcome, visible and respected regardless of their age, ability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, culture/ethnicity, religion/belief, socioeconomic background, or any other perceived or actual difference. The Centre works towards raising public awareness and transforming education so that everyone can benefit from, and contribute to, day to day life in ordinary schools and other education settings. CSIE activities include talks, training, consultancy, research and the production of a wide range of resources to support the development of inclusive education. CSIE was set up in 1982 and is also a registered company (2253521).
