Meditation is a method to develop inner peace. You become
aware, control and reduce negative thoughts that are responsible for stress and
unhappy feelings, and replace them with more positive thoughts. Meditation can help to improve your well being.
Around two and a half thousand years ago Buddha Shakyamuni
taught methods to develop lasting peace and happiness though controlling the
mind. These methods have become known as Buddhism and followers attain a lasting experience of inner peace.
The charity operates two centres one in Keighley and the other in Burnley. Both centres are run entirely by volunteers and open to all.
You can relax in the café, try meditation in one of our drop
in classes or explore deeper through our courses, workshops and retreats.
As a charity we rely on donations and fundraising to run our centres.
