We support any Charity, Voluntary or Community Association which provides a service within Basingstoke and Deane, giving advice, guidance and support on a range of activities identified on our website.

Mayors Community Chest
During 2017/18 we are are pleased to announce that we will be working alongside the new Mayor of Basingstoke and Deane, Cllr. Paul Frankum on the Mayors Community Chest.

Cllr. Frankum will be raising money during his mayoral year to award grants to local groups and charities for delivering projects which will enable his vision for ‘Everyone Can’ in the borough.

Throughout the initiative people and businesses will be able to donate to support the grants to local groups, Organisations requesting support will be featured on the BVA Mydonate page.

BVA’s vision is:
A strong, vibrant, creative and diverse voluntary and community sector (VCS) meeting the needs of Basingstoke and Deane’s local communities that choose Basingstoke Voluntary Action as its main provider of development services.

Our mission is to support and empower voluntary action to deliver sustained benefits for Basingstoke and Deane and its diverse communities.

We provide One-2-One support, advice and information on issues such as governance, funding, policies and procedures, and marketing etc, provide support with group quality assurance and accreditation, finding and advertising for Volunteers, Promoting Event and News articles on our website plus facilitate Voluntary Sector Forums.

All this is free to registered groups.
