AMS is a highly-respected, charitable community football club that has an unrivalled reputation for developing young players. Established by Heart of Midlothian’s and Northern Ireland’s Assistant Manager and UEFA-licensed coach Austin MacPhee, AMS hold ‘Legacy Club’ level status with the Scottish Football Association, the highest award available for clubs in Scotland, demonstrating the club’s commitment to developing young people beyond their footballing careers.
AMS offers a complete pathway with players playing from 3-50+ years of age and offer provision for players from Fun 4s & Super 5s to 7 and 11-a-side to walking football. Beyond that, AM Soccer have an amateur and 2nd team - ensuring young players can stay actively involved with the club and playing football throughout the early parts of their lives.
The charity have also developed local community programmes in the form of Walking Football for the Elderly, football based sport for the Learning Disabled and are also working hard towards increasing participation in sport in Rural Schools through extra-curricular multi-sport activities.
