Alice Hiley Memorial Trust

Charity description

Alice Hiley Memorial Trust logo
The aim of the Alice Hiley Memorial Trust is to help neonatal babies by purchasing more specialised equipment for neonatal units and to help families coping with CDH (congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia).

The trust was set up with family and friends, in memory of Alice Hiley our daughter who was lost after six and a half hours of being born in July 2010.
It is important for us to know that other babies will receive the same level of care as Alice did in her short life. For this reason and with your support we hope to purchase further equipment to help other babies requiring special medical care in neonatal units.
To date we have raised over £39,000 and purchased an incubator for £14,600, a brain scanner for £16,000 and other smaller but crucial items such as specialist mattresses, breathing equipment etc.
With your help we can also learn more about CDH and help those families affected by the condition.
